Service Fees
Therapy Consultation
Zora Psychology currently operates as a private-pay practice meaning we do not process Medicare rebates. Currently a standard 50-minute Telehealth consult fee is:
$150 (50-minute standard consultation)
$160 (After-hour 50-minute consultation from 5pm onwards)
Session fees will be updated and Medicare rebates will become available again in early 2027.
Medicare and Referrals
Session fees will be updated and Medicare rebates will become available again in 1st of January 2027.
Under the upcoming arrangement, you will be eligible to access up to 10 Medicare-rebatable psychology sessions per calendar year, with the calendar year running from 1 January to 31 December.
The current Medicare rebate for a standard consultation with a Clinical Psychologist is $149.05. Our fees from January 2027 will be:
50-minute standard business hours appointment: $270 — approximate gap fee of $120.95 after the Medicare rebate.
50-minute after-hours appointment (5 pm onwards): $280 — approximate gap fee of $130.95 after the Medicare rebate.
50-minute Pensioner/Concession appointment: $240 — approximate gap fee of $90.95 after the Medicare rebate.
Please note: International clients who are unable to access Medicare rebates or individuals who are experiencing financial hardship are able to access services at a reduced rate. You are encouraged to discuss this further with your psychologist.
NDIS
I deliver psychological services to those approved for therapeutic services in their NDIS plans, including:
Self-managed NDIS participants, and
Plan-managed participants ( the participant’s NDIS number, plan manager’s name, contact number, and email address will be required)
Fees for these services are funded by NDIA and set in accordance with their fee schedule. The current fee schedule for a 50-minute psychology session from 2026- 2027 is $252.99.
WorkCover, Transport and Accident Commission (TAC), Comcare, and Victims of Crime (VOCAT)
We offer specialised services for individuals seeking support through WorkCover and other Worker’s compensation services such as TAC, Comcare, and Victims of Crime.
For those with accepted claims, fees are usually fully covered by your claim (up to the approved number of sessions or treatment plan). If you are eligible for psychological services under a workers’ compensation scheme, please contact us to discuss your eligibility and applicable fees/rebate.
Private Health Insurance
Rebates may be available from your private health insurance. Please check with your private health insurance to confirm any rebates that may be available to you.
